Bricelyn Area Veterans and Heroes Memorial

The Bricelyn Veterans and Heroes Memorial is a community project dedicated to honoring the men and women who have served in the United States Armed Forces, the Bricelyn Fire Department, and Emergency Medical Services . This memorial will serve as a place of remembrance, reflection, and gratitude for the sacrifices made by our veterans, first responders, and their families.

The memorial is being led by Bricelyn American Legion, Nels Lee Post 165 and Bricelyn Fire & EMS, whose members are guiding the planning and development of this important tribute to those who have honorably served our country and community.

The City of Bricelyn has generously offered the use of the northeast corner of North Main Street and North 3rd Street as the future home of the Memorial. This highly visible location will provide a meaningful space where community members and visitors can gather to honor our heroes.

Planned Features

The Memorial site is being designed to create a dignified and welcoming space for reflection and community gatherings. Planned elements include:

• A memorial monument honoring local veterans and first responders

• Flagpoles representing all branches of the United States military and local Fire & EMS

• Thoughtfully designed landscaping to enhance the space

• A future gazebo where families and visitors can gather for ceremonies, events, and quiet reflection

Once completed, the Bricelyn Veterans and Heroes Memorial will become a lasting tribute to the service and sacrifice of those who have defended our nation and served our community.
